Bonnie launched the company in 1973 with Pace Magazine, the inflight publication of Piedmont Airlines. Today, Pace is the world’s leading custom-publishing business. Bonnie has been recognized as one of the country’s leading women entrepreneurs. Her recent role as Ambassador for the United States and her current position as Chair of the American Red Cross indicate her lifelong commitment to service—both to her country and to the community at large. Bonnie also received the United Way’s 2004 National Alexis de Tocqueville Society Award for her leadership and exemplary service to her community.
Craig leads the custom publishing, digital and airline media business at Pace and is our acknowledged expert in this field. Before moving to Greensboro from London in 2004, Craig ran a group of digital, publishing and branding agencies for Chime Communications. Prior to that, he co-founded a leading custom publishing business in the United Kingdom, which was acquired by the U.S. marketing services giant Omnicom. For four years, he managed the worldwide custom publishing for that company’s Diversified Agencies Services (DAS) division. He is currently a Board Director of the Custom Publishing Council (CPC) in the U.S. and a frequent speaker and panelist on branded content and publishing around the world.
Leigh Ann is responsible for treasury management, accounting practices, information technology, as well as legal and business planning aspects of Pace. Prior to joining Pace in 1997, Leigh Ann worked for The Walt Disney Company in corporate finance. There she led both domestic and international consulting and audit projects across the company's various divisions, such as Consumer Products, Buena Vista Theatrical Distribution, Miramax and ESPN. Leigh Ann received her master’s degree in accounting and bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Leigh Ann earned her CPA with Ernst & Young. She also serves on the Board of the Moses Cone-Wesley Long Community Health Foundation.
Ed oversees Pace's production department as well as publications for several key clients, including Toyota, the American Cancer Society and ACG Group (AAA Midwest). Prior to joining Pace in 1987, Ed was vice president of operations for trade magazine publisher Communications Today. Previously, he was senior vice president and chief auditing officer for BPA, a magazine circulation audit service firm. Ed has extensive knowledge of leading-edge print production technologies and efficiencies and has led Pace's initiatives to source and secure competitive, volume-based pricing for print and paper.
Jim's career spans more than 30 years in printing and publishing, including management positions with several nationally recognized printing, pre-press and publishing companies. A member of the Pace team since 1992, Jim led the transition from film-based printing to direct-to-plate printing, improving quality and production time while reducing costs. He is an innovator in the successful merger of personalized direct marketing information into the magazine publishing format, merging items from various platforms and providers.
Jaci has more than 20 years' experience in editorial operations, spanning daily newspapers, trade publications, and B2B and B2C custom magazines. Since joining Pace in 1996, Jaci has successfully launched custom print and digital publications for clients including Wells Fargo/Wachovia, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Bluetooth, Winterthur Museum & Country Estate, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, the American Cancer Society, AAA, AT&T Wireless and NCR. Currently she is the Pace executive lead for Wells Fargo, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Bluetooth. Before joining Pace, Jaci was an editor in Reed Elsevier's Cahners Business Publishing group. A graduate of the School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she is vice president of the Board of Directors for Piedmont Land Conservancy and also chairs the regional land trust's public relations committee.
Gail’s focus is attracting the best and brightest talent for Pace Communications. With more than 25 years in human resource management, she oversees human resources, benefits, compensation, payroll, office management and the mail services departments. Prior to joining Pace in 1997, Gail worked in various corporate human resource capacities with national production and retail companies, as well as nonprofit organizations. Her broad range of experience enables her to relate to the changing cultures and challenges of a diverse workforce.
With more than 18 years of experience, Linh brings a proven record of driving profitable sales growth in both marketing and merchandising roles within Fortune 500 and privately held organizations. In leading efforts for companies such as Staples, Ross-Simons and L.L. Bean, she has developed product assortment strategies; negotiated online vendor–sponsored, promotional sales-driving programs; and established digital and print marketing strategies. She brings exceptional leadership skills and a high degree of energy and enthusiasm to everything she does. Linh works to create and maintain a collaborative environment where everyone's contributions lead to individual and organizational growth and success.
