Four Seasons Magazine Goes Live on the Web

Toronto, ON (September 09, 2009)—Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is pleased to announce the launch of its new web site, FourSeasonsMagazine.com. Developed with publishing partner Pace Communications, the site features lifestyle editorial, video, interactive features and insider travel information, all from the unique viewpoint of Four Seasons. The new online magazine is an extension of the recently revamped Four Seasons Magazine, a lifestyle publication available quarterly by subscription and in Four Seasons guest rooms around the world.

Four Seasons has spent nearly 50 years anticipating and responding to the demands of its guests with services and amenities customised to meet their needs. Now through the web site, Four Seasons engages users through sophisticated, inspiring content and further cements its relationships with existing customers.

Since the site is designed top down for search engine optimisation, it also introduces Four Seasons to prospective guests through the site’s informative, rich travel content. The site’s link strategy is to engage users and then send them to the Four Seasons consumer site for bookings. Further, the Four Seasons Magazine Newsletter, a monthly publication, supports the new site through links to the site’s content. FourSeasonsMagazine.com also is a means to build the Four Seasons database for direct marketing through an opt-in for the newsletter. The site and newsletter feature limited sponsorship opportunities for select luxury brands.

“We see the new web site as a tremendous opportunity to extend the Four Seasons experience to guests when they are outside of the hotel, and to invite new guests into our world,” says Susan Helbstab, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

FourSeasonsMagazine.com will offer original content on a monthly basis as well as expand on the stories first featured in the pages of the quarterly magazine. Readers will find exclusive lifestyle editorial, videos, interactive features and insider travel tips and trends as well as links to Four Seasons’ main web site for more specific information on hotels, availability and rates. The online launch includes a behind-the-scenes video of a fashion shoot at Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris, an article on the current state of haute cuisine by esteemed food critic John Mariani and Four Seasons Concierge recommendations for 20 destinations.

“We are very excited to assist Four Seasons in bringing this web site to life. It’s an important tool in the marketing of this upscale brand, and the site is a great opportunity for advertisers to reach an exclusive audience,” says Craig Waller, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer for Pace Communications.
