Pace Communications Names Director of Digital Strategy

Company continues personnel expansion in digital media.

Greensboro, NC (November 15, 2011)— Pace Communications, a leading content marketing agency specializing in multi-channel custom content solutions, recently named Kevin Briody as Director, Digital Strategy.

Kevin joins Pace from Ignite Social Media in Raleigh where he focused on social media marketing for global brands. His responsibilities at Ignite included new business development, agency innovation and client strategy for leading brands such as Samsung, Microsoft, CenterPoint Energy, Nature Made, Nike and Chrysler.

Prior to joining Ignite, Kevin worked primarily in client-side marketing roles within the technology industry. His more than seven years at Microsoft included positions in product marketing, influencer relations, college student programs and developer community marketing. While at Microsoft, among other accomplishments, Kevin led some of the earliest blogger and influencer outreach efforts for Windows Live & MSN and helped launch the International .NET Association, a global non-profit serving thousands of developer user groups.

After leaving Microsoft, Kevin worked as Director of Marketing & Partner Development for a Seattle-based non-profit e-learning provider supporting the librarian profession, funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. During his time in the Pacific Northwest Kevin also worked in marketing and sales roles at three angel and venture-funded startups, including a successful exit via acquisition by Microsoft.
