Greensboro, N.C. (February 18, 2010)—A content marketing and e-commerce pioneer, Pace Communications is marching on in 2010 with new projects, growing e-commerce and digital content divisions, and industry awards.
“This is an exciting time at Pace,” said Craig Waller, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Pace Communications. “Marketers are increasingly adding custom content as an integral part of their marketing mix—we brought on several new clients last year and we are starting new projects for existing clients this year. These brands are looking to use content to engage customers through a multi-channel approach.”
According to a recent study from the Custom Publishing Council, custom content marketing now accounts for 32 percent of marketers’ budgets, in the form of digital content, social media and printed publications. Marketers spent more on branded content in 2009 than in any previous measured year—more than $1.8 million per company surveyed.
Craig Waller continues, “Advertisers are realizing that they need to truly put their customers in the center of their communications programs in order to see measurable results. Custom marketing is designed to do just that, and we are continuing to evolve as a company so that we can deliver innovative content solutions on behalf of our clients to engage and connect with consumers.”
