Greensboro, NC (December, 2006) — Pace Communications, the world's largest privately-owned custom publishing company, is expanding its reach with the formation of Pace Interactive, a newly enhanced internet services division. The new division will allow Pace Communications to grow its already extensive new media outreach. Offering a range of services, including Web design and development, search-engine marketing, Web hosting and interactive marketing consulting, Pace Interactive will enable Pace Communications to provide clients with unparalleled custom publishing services.

"This is an incredibly exciting time to be in publishing," said Pace Communications Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Craig Waller. "While we will continue to produce high-quality custom magazines for our clients, we are also building on our already comprehensive Web portfolio, proactively anticipating our clients' needs as we head into a new   era of multi-platform customer communications."

Pace Communications already produces numerous Web sites for its clients, including the award-winning Epic Online (www.exploreepic.com) for outdoor retailer The North Face With the new Pace Interactive, Pace Communications plans to unveil the next generation of digital custom publishing, including internet-only content for its successful in-flight publication division.

Pace Interactive is the result of Pace Communications' acquisition of Pixels, Inc., a North Carolina-based Web-services agency that previously worked with the custom publisher on a project-by-project basis. Led by owner Joe Michel, Pixels, Inc. helped produce internet sites for high-profile Pace clients, including United Hemispheres, Delta Sky and US Airways Magazine .

The new Pace Interactive will be headed by Joe Michel, who will act as the division's Managing Director. With his more than twenty years of publishing and internet experience, Michel will spearhead Pace Communications' new media initiatives.
