Pace Communications Wins Groundbreaking Contract
Exclusive New Magazine for Wachovia Wealth Management Targets Affluent Audience

GREENSBORO, NC, February 13, 2006— Pace Communications, the world's largest private custom publishing company, together with Wachovia Wealth Management, has announced a partnership to launch a new, high-end quarterly magazine targeted to Wachovia’s most affluent clients.  The yet-to-be named publication will debut in May 2006 at the Wachovia Championship, a PGA Tour Event held in Charlotte, NC.

The magazine will be distributed to Wachovia’s 50,000 wealth management clients and prospects.  These individuals represent $130 billion of assets under administration, each having a minimum of $2 million in investable assets.  The magazine will be tailored to this distinctive demographic with its pages printed on high quality paper and enhanced by editorial and images from world-renowned writers and photographers.  External advertising will be limited to eight pages in the oversized, 52-page glossy, providing a unique opportunity for only the most upscale products and services to get in front of the publication's sought-after readers.

“Client loyalty is something that no company should take for granted," said Craig Waller, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer at Pace Communications. "The custom publication is the perfect way to reinforce client loyalty. This is an exciting and promising opportunity for Pace and we are eager to produce a first-rate magazine that gets to this distinguished audience, engages them at the right level and in the right tone of voice."

“We wanted to stress Wachovia Wealth Management's leadership in this important and growing sector and deepen our client relationships,” said Lisa Stowe, Vice President and Marketing Relationship Manager at Wachovia Wealth Management. "Pace was clearly the firm to help us accomplish these goals.  We believe the new magazine will be a critical communications tool in reaching out to our clients, and Pace's vision achieves all of our objectives."
